I joined Crossroads to Recovery in September 2020, driven by the same purpose that has shaped my life for nearly two decades: helping people break free from addiction and reclaim their lives. My work in this field began not in a classroom or office — but through my own lived experience with drugs and alcohol. I found healing through the same 12-step principles and treatment approaches we practice here at Crossroads, and after making a conscious decision to get clean and sober in April 2003, I’ve remained committed to this work ever since.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse treatment settings — from 12-step nonprofit programs to methadone clinics — and supporting individuals at every stage of recovery. I have overseen service contracts with local school districts and DFPS, and I’ve provided counseling to teens, parents, and adults. I’ve served as Clinical director across multiple agencies and have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
I’ve also served as a DWIE instructor for the state of Texas and have been invited to speak and present at professional CEU conferences. With 15 years as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and 19 total years in the addiction and recovery field, I bring both clinical knowledge and personal insight to the work I do.
I believe strongly in this program — and in the truth that we cannot keep what we do not give away. My commitment is to continue giving back the hope, tools, and compassion that were once given to me, and to walk alongside others as they discover their own path to recovery.
